VAZATA Reports No Service Disruptions as Multiple Tornadoes Strike DFW

April 23, 2012 – VAZATA, a full service cloud infrastructure, managed services and colocation provider, announced today that its two Dallas-based Tier III data centers remained fully operational as violent storms and multiple tornadoes struck the area.

David MacGrandle, COO of VAZATA, said, “there were no disruptions to any of our customers during this time despite significant storm damage in the area. We did staff teams of technicians on-site at both facilities during the storm and we used our vPerformance Dashboard – a web-based performance monitoring tool accessible to any visitors to our website – as one of our tools used to proactively communicate status and uptime during the event. We’re pleased that despite a sizable natural disaster in our region, our own disaster recovery planning ensured 100% stability for our customers.”

VAZATA’s data centers have all passed SSAE 16 Type II audits and are leveraged by Fortune 500, mid-size enterprises and U.S. federal government agencies for a wide range of technology solutions, including colocation, managed hosting, cloud computing and IaaS.
