Plano, Texas, September 18, 2013 – VAZATA, a full service cloud infrastructure, managed services and colocation provider, today announced the addition of John Greenwood to its executive leadership team. In his new role, Greenwood will serve as VAZATA’s EVP of Sales and Marketing and oversee the company’s strategic sales, business development, marketing and customer relationship strategies.

Greenwood most recently served as Region Vice President and General Manager for ViaWest in Richardson, Texas with responsibility and oversight for sales and operations. He launched their sales and marketing efforts in the region and exponentially accelerated their organic growth. Prior to that he served as General Manager for CyrusOne in Dallas, Texas launching their entry into the market. During his technology career, Greenwood has also held various management positions at AT&T. Greenwood is a graduate of Marquette University and earned an MBA from the University of Dallas and an MS in Telecommunications from SMU.
